The Hove is ideal for the “nervous beginner” – a small manageable moveable unit. Would suit small town garden, or if there is not a lot of space. The Roof on the house is hinged and also has a support prop to give easy access to clean out. There is a hinged lid on the run, giving access to open the pophole. The run is detachable so moving the unit along is easy. Just detach the run in the morning when your hens are still in their house, edge the house along using the carry handles, then re-attach the run and open the pophole. An externally accessed nesting box built on the back of the unit enables the keeper to collect the eggs with ease and without disturbing the hens (or letting them out!). The Hove II is suitable for around three hens. Your Starter Kit will be included such as feeder, drinker etc. as listed above. |
