This is one of our most popular designs and (as poultry keepers ourselves) we have developed this design over the years to include such features as a full sized access door to make it easier for the poultry keeper, for example the height of our largest Glenvale is 6’6”. The unit includes externally accessed nesting boxes as standard (number according to the size of unit) removable or freestanding perches and pophole. Ample ventilation in the form of a large adjustable hatch within the front access door - this is most important as sufficient air flow goes a long way in preventing respiratory disease. A timber weather ridge on the top of the apex gives added protection against leakage (not that it is needed, just another finishing touch). This unit is constructed in either 12mm (Premier Grade) or 20mm thick heavy duty (Premier Plus Grade) tongue and groove cladding. All fixings are galvanised to give long life. The Premier Plus grade Glenvales have double layered ply & T&G roof with scalloped edging and ornate ventilation hatch. The Premier Grade range has exterior grade hardwood ply with a heavy duty 20kg green mineral felt roof. Runs available with this unit are Fitted Apex and Flat Roof (any length). Additional nest boxes can be added to the opposite panel.

Another variation of the Glenvale - Due to the heavy-duty timber used in our premier grade units - this can make them rather heavy (not easily moved or blown over!!) In order to combat this problem - wheels can be fitted to this or any other unit. We stock three different sizes of wheel - so even the larger sized units can be fitted with them and pushed up and down the yard/field with ease.
